Some of us find ourselves sacrificing our emotional health by trying to perfect everything about ourselves that someone else says is wrong, bad, difficult, etc. We allow our feelings to be put on the back burner in what's supposed to be a give & take situation while trying to live up to an expectation while ours goes ignored. Don't create a life of sorrow and depression sacrificing your emotional health for anyone. If they can't truly like, love, respect and appreciate you, ALL OF YOU (flaws & all), remove yourself from the situation.
